MULE DEER HUNTS & PRICING

What to Expect:

We currently only offer archery hunts for mule deer. 

The type of hunting will be fair-chase, spot and stalk on private land. The different terrain types you will encounter include sage brush flats, drainages, draws, buttes, agricultural fields and badlands. We can accommodate hunts based on the fitness level of each hunter. Most days will start off with scouting and glassing for deer in the early mornings. Once a target buck is acquired we will come up with a game plan for a stalk. The stalks are usually the most exciting and eventful part of the hunt since it involves strategy and skill to close the distance for an archery shot. Our guides will do our best to get you as close to the deer as possible or within your comfortable range. Average shot opportunities are between 20 and 60 yards. Most bucks taken average 150-180" and bigger. We usually stay out in the field all day hunting depending on the weather and the movement of the bucks that day. 

Dates:

We offer mule deer hunts from September 1 through mid November. 

Tag information:  Even though you have to send in an application, archery mule deer licenses are guaranteed with no deadline to apply and the cost is approximately $286. You can apply online here: Get your License

Cost:

Five full days of hunting:

- Two hunters with one guide: $4,000 per person 

- One hunter with one guide: $5,000 per person

- Option to hunt mule deer (two hunters, one guide) and antelope: $5,000 per person 

- Non-hunter fee is $100/day

Prices include: guides, lodging, and meals. 

Prices DO NOT include: gratuity, personal gear, weapon, airfare, a rental car for transportation to and from the airport, tag/license fees, meat/taxidermy storage coolers, meat processing fees if you take your meat to a local processor.
